Hanon McKendry is a team of passionate and driven individuals. We work hard for our clients and believe the work we do can make a difference. Our employees are some of the best in the business, but they also believe that powerful communications can make the world a better place. And that’s one of main reasons they choose to work at Hanon McKendry.

We work hard, but we also like to have fun.

Each year we’ll treat you to a number of fantastic employee events including a Christmas party whose gift exchange has become legendary, a Super Ad Bowl party complete with a referee and artificial turf in the conference room, and other spontaneous celebrations throughout the year. We love to recognize team member anniversaries, new babies—and any other excuse to have dessert.

We love to eat.

Our kitchen is stocked with milk, coffee, hot and cold cereal to start the morning right, Easy Mac and soups to keep us going and more cold juice, soda and bottled water than your average 7-11. Then there's the snacks: M&M'S (plain and peanut), trail mix and plenty of nuts (remember, we're talking about snacks, not employees). Best of all, no vending machines—it's all free. 

We’re a pretty casual group.

Employees wear anything from business suits to jeans, depending on their schedule for the day. We take our cues from Bill McKendry, who's been known to say, "If you see me in anything other than a baseball hat and jeans, I'm going to a wedding." 

Our downtown location is Amazing.

We work in the heart of Grand Rapids' Arena District, in a loft space that is both elegant and comfortable. As a matter of fact, a world leader in office furniture used the space as their international showroom before we moved in.
